Our Services
Women's Health Outreach program performs mobile health care screenings with a trailer fully equipped with state of the rt digital mammography screening equipment. Eligible women interested in receiving our services at an upcoming mobile health care screening van must have a national ID card (Al-Raqam Al-Qawmy). This is our one and only request from all ladies besides being 45-y-old or above.
You will be advised to arrange for a mammography examination of your breasts every year as part of your health care plan .
At the Screening van, you will receive the most current information on the early detection of breast cancer. A trained staff member will interview you for as to your past medical history. A mammogram will be taken of your breasts by a trained radiographer. This safe, low dose X-ray uses a special technique that can find tumors at an early stage in development, often before a lump can be felt by a trained physician. The mammogram will then be reviewed by radiologists who specialize in the diagnosis of breast-related problems. Blood pressure, Blood sugar testing and body mass index calculation are also performed during the examination process.
